Finesse

Finesse needed to elevate a familiar category without becoming cold or distant. The work focused on making premium feel clear, appetizing, and useful across retail and campaign contexts.

Campaign image system for a premium retail cue.
Context

Ice cream brands live in a crowded visual environment. Cups, menus, posters, seasonal offers, and shelf presence all have to communicate quickly. We approached the system as a flexible kit for retail appetite and campaign repetition.

Challenge

The challenge was to create a premium presence that still felt easy to buy. Too much refinement would make the brand feel distant; too much play would flatten the premium cue.

Outcome

The result is a premium ice cream system with enough structure for menus and retail, and enough appetite to stay desirable in campaign contexts.

Process

How the work was shaped

01

Define the premium cue

We mapped what needed to feel elevated at first glance: color behavior, cup presentation, menu rhythm, and campaign posters. This gave the identity a clear job beyond looking polished.

02

Create a retail-ready system

The packaging and campaign elements were built to repeat. We looked for graphic moves that could hold flavor, seasonal, and menu information without redesigning the brand each time.

03

Test appetite against clarity

The work was balanced between expressive food cues and the practical need for fast recognition. The brand had to feel desirable, but the product still had to be easy to understand.

Design choices

What the system needed to do

Confident color and clean hierarchy

The visual system uses strong contrast and controlled hierarchy so the product can feel premium without losing energy on menus and campaign surfaces.

Campaign behavior built into the identity

Posters and launch visuals were treated as core brand assets, not one-off marketing. This lets Finesse stretch from packaging into broader seasonal communication.

Packaging as the anchor

The cups carry the strongest version of the identity because they are the most repeated object. Everything else supports that product-first recognition.
